Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has unveiled a
significant $2 billion investment plan in Pakistan, highlighting the strong
potential for cooperation between Pakistan, Turkey, and Azerbaijan—especially

Erdogan Welcomes Ceasefire Between
Pakistan and India
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan
expressed satisfaction over the recent ceasefire between Pakistan and India. He
voiced hope that this temporary truce will evolve into lasting peace,
reflecting Turkey’s commitment to regional stability. Erdogan emphasized the
deep ties among Turkey, Azerbaijan, and Pakistan, calling them “three
countries, one nation.”

At the trilateral meeting in Lachin,
Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif reaffirmed Pakistan’s close ties with
Turkey and Azerbaijan. He described both countries as Pakistan’s “military
brothers” who have stood firmly alongside Pakistan through challenges. Sharif
emphasized that the three nations stand united for peace and justice, echoing
shared support on critical issues such as Karabakh, Kashmir, and Northern
Cyprus.
Protecting Pakistan’s Water Rights and
Commitment to Peace
Addressing concerns about India’s
threats to violate the Indus Water Treaty, Prime Minister Sharif assured that
Pakistan is fully prepared to protect its water resources. “India will never be
able to stop Pakistan’s water,” he stated firmly, underscoring the country’s
resolve to safeguard this vital lifeline. He also reiterated Pakistan’s
readiness for dialogue with India on all important matters, including trade and
counter-terrorism, if India shows genuine intent.

Prime Minister Sharif described the
recent conflict with India as a serious and unjustified aggression. He praised
Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir and the Pakistani armed forces for their bravery

In his Independence Day address in
Azerbaijan, the Prime Minister called for resolving the Kashmir conflict in
line with United Nations Security Council resolutions. He also appealed for an
immediate ceasefire in Gaza and an end to the suffering of Palestinians,
highlighting the humanitarian crisis that has claimed over 52,000 lives,
including many women and children. Sharif urged the global community to awaken
to this tragedy and stand against ongoing violence.

trilateral partnership, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif declared, “Pakistan,
